Robin Bird Feeders

Created to support Cransley Hospice Trust in 2023.

At the start of 2023 I received the most exciting commission….Cransley Hospice Trust made a little film about me and I had did interviews with Radio Northampton!

Many believe that a visit from a Robin is a sign that a lost loved one is near or visiting them. Over the last 25 years, Cransley Hospice have provided essential care and services to hundreds of families and loved ones, helping them to die comfortably and with dignity.

The installation "Robins appear when loved ones are near" was created from 500 individual hand-crafted, black and white clay robins. Each little bird was delicately stamped with a Cransley Hospice heart and a number from 1 to 500, made by myself- local artisan potter, Louise Crookenden-Johnson in my garden studio in Kettering.

All 500 robins were displayed in a creative art installation at Chester House Estate during June 2023 to honour loved one's, and in celebration of 25 years of hospice care.

The limited edition Robins all SOLD OUT!
